Knafeh is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert that is especially popular during Ramadan. It is made with layers of shredded phyllo dough filled with nuts and cheese, and then soaked in a sweet syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 bag of hazelnuts
- 1 bag of almonds
- 1 bag of walnuts
- 1 bag of shredded coconut
- 1 bag of raisins
- Cinnamon
- Powdered sugar
- ¼ kg of ghee

Mix the hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts, shredded coconut, raisins, a pinch of cinnamon, and white honey.

In a bowl, mix the knafeh with the sugar and melted ghee.

Rub the knafeh well in a greased baking tray, then spread the nut filling and place the second layer of knafeh.

Bake in the oven, then add the cold syrup and serve.
