Add the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and flour to thelarge mug, then add the egg and stir.

Add the butter and chocolate chips, then stir until the mixture is well combined.

Place the mug in the microwave for 50 seconds on high power.

After 50 seconds, check if the cake has cooked by inserting a toothpick into the center. It should come out clean. If there are any sticky residues on the toothpick, microwave the mug for another 30 seconds until the cake is fully cooked. Do not cook for more than two minutes.
